Mickey Campbell's Race Across America
Mickey Campbell's Race Across America
Story
Update from 25 July:
WELL, WE DID IT!!!!! After 12 days and 5 minutes, we crossed the finishing line nearly 3,000 miles later in Annapolis! Over those 12 days, on a daily basis, we averaged 20hrs cycling, 2hrs sleep and 450km…and guaranteed that was easily the hardest event I have ever undertaken!!
So, on behalf of the MickRooCrew, thanks a million to everyone who supported us in some form or another – you know who you are! Thanks a million to those organisations and individuals who very generously provided sponsorship – again you know who you are, and hopefully many others know about you now as a result! And lastly, thanks a million to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance for giving us the opportunity to hopefully make a real and lasting difference to the lives of some of these beautiful kids with Cerebral Palsy!!!
Cheers, Mickey
Update from 25 May:

18 May - Here’s What They Say…
Race Across America (RAAM) is one of the most respected and longest running endurance sports events in the world. RAAM is seen as a pinnacle of athletic achievement not only in cycling circles but in the greater sporting community as well. There is no other race in the world like RAAM – it is THE world’s top endurance cycling event! RAAM is the true test of speed, endurance, strength and camaraderie – there is no race that matches the distance, terrain and weather, no other event that tests the spirit from beginning to end.
